To check your eligibility, you can choose from the following options:

  • You can join AmeriHealth Caritas Ohio by calling the Ohio Medicaid Hotline at 1-800-324-8680 or, visit benefits.ohio.gov



I am a Member of Another Managed Care Plan

To check how and when you can change your plan:


I am within 90 days of my initial Medicaid enrollment date
  • Anyone is allowed to change their plan during this time
  • You can use the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline Portal at www.ohiomh.com or contact the Ohio Medicaid Consumer Hotline at 800-324-8680
It is During Open Enrollment (November 1 through November 30)

  • A Just Cause for enrollment is a request to change or disenroll from plans outside of the annual open enrollment period or after the initial 90-day enrollment period. These requests are initiated by calling the Medicaid Hotline at 800-324-8680 Monday through Friday 7am-8pm and Saturday 8am-5pm ET.
